Heard today that the Baja plant in Bucryus Oh has been sold to Fountain Power Boats in South Carolina. They employed 285 people which will be out of a job by late May. Sure going to miss seeing those brand new boats heading down the highway on semi trailers. I wonder how many foreclosed houses will come out of this. Just add them onto the others due to the job loss in the state.
One of my co-workers knows a friend that works there. The word is that with the gas prices being up,,,,,,,,sales are way down.......SS
BTW, Diesel here is now $4.16 per gallon. A whole dollar more than gas.
