have a 2006 Outlaw Baja with 496 and the tilt trim just quit working at the river last weekend. Had to loosen lines and ratchet strap it up to load. Checked Ohms @ switch and they work but I have no power to either solenoid. Could this be the big 110 amp fuse I have heard about? I have new batteries and checked voltage everywhere else just not getting any to the solenoid bank.
Back in the 70s, I had an 18 foot open with 115 Merc. Somehow battery cable (I can't remember if it was + or -) got a nick in the plastic sheathing and salt water got into the copper. The wire dissolved.
All working again. Either a broken wire in harness or unplugged somewhere or the trim switch on transom bad? Ran new wire works great. Thanks for all the help.
