Baja jetboat won't turn over

i have a Baja jetboat 120 merc jetsport motor. Starter will not engage. Replaced the starter and battery. Tested solenoid per the manual. Tested OK. Tested the shifter safety switch OK. All I get is one click from the solenoid when I turn the key.

You could try running a jumper wire directly from the positive post on the battery to terminal on the solenoid that I believe has a yellow wire connected to it. This will bypass everything and verify if the starter and solenoid do infact work propery.

Thanks Brad....I found the problem.....The bolt securing the negative battery ground on the engine block had become loose. No doubt from too much wave jumping....ouch...
