1997 SeaDoo GTI. I fried the MPEM (my own stupid fault) and won't be able to buy a new one until after our first freeze. Is there ANY way to winterize the engine without a working module?

there is a drain in the rear of the jugs under the exhaust pipe that hooks to a t fitting and runs a clear tube to the back of the boat where the exhaust exits the hull the tube runs under the drive shaft along the floor you can un hook it at the exhaust fitting , place it in a wet vack hose with a rag wrapped around the hose to keep the suction in the hose and draw out any water from the block, sometimes these hoses get sand in them and don't allow the water to drain out, while you do the vacume routine, un hook one of the hoses from the rear of the head the n pour some antifreez in to that fitting and see if it went in to the vacume container if you are getting it in the vacume you know the water is out of the block, remove the plugs and spray fogging oil in the cylinders and spray it in the carb while turning over the engine . remove the fuel line feeding the fuel pump , connect a small hose to the fuel pump and blow air in the pump with the fuel cap loose this clears out fuel from the carbs, pour some 2 stroke oil in the hose and blow air in behind it to put oil in the carb bodies, use only 1 pound of air preasure or blow in the hose manually, do not use a lot of preasure. Be sure the fuel is turned off so it won't get back in the carb when you reconnect the fuel line, use the wet vac to pull excess water from the water box in the exhaust. connect to the big hose at the water box.

Thanks Jeff. The info helps a lot. I was able to get AF into most of the motor, but I wasn't sure about the exhaust, so I took it off the machine and emptied the water out.

I'm going to try to find a heated storage space just in case. Not running the motor for winterization really concerns me. There's no way to really know if any water is trapped. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a new MPEM before it gets REALLY cold!
