bad lean to right

I have a 1985 century 3000 cuddy. If i am standing still, it floats level. When underway, if I have a passenger standing in the center between the seats it is fine but if they move to the starboard side it has a bad lean that I have to keep the wheel turned to the right to correct. I was thinking of adding trim tabs to correct this but is there some underlying problem hat I should be looking for?
