Bad day on the lake - blown motor - 4.3 Volvo Penta GS

20 minutes on Lake Mohave heard grinding in motor - shut er'down
only to find parts of my block (yup), bolts, and oil everywhere!

(27 hrs on my engine - 4.3 Volvo Penta GS)

Needs a new motor - 185.00 for vessel assist to tow me back to marina)

I'm SOOOO depressed!

Real bad news, brother- -so sorry to hear. I blew my 4.3 two seasons ago when she split the crank shaft at the #1 cyl. And, that re-manned engine didn't have as many hours as yours did. Best of luck.
