Deb tried her darnst to throw a Surprise Party for me Friday night,....
It worked out 'bout the same as on the 21st anniversary of my 29th birthday,....
That day was a Saturday, 'n I'd gone to the County Realestate auction,... expected to get home 'bout 5
m,....
I'd bought the Chaumont river house, 'n got home at 11:am, crashin' the preparations,....
I went,
without Deb, to go see Our new house that day, 'n We had a great party in the backyard,....

m a van pulls in the driveway, 'n my two sisters step out,.....
That was the surprise of a lifetime,..... :faint2:
This year, I finished work 'bout 4
m, 'n happened to be over behind Chaumont, so went there,....
Deb was preppin' the place, 'n couldn't believe I'd gotten there before my usually 6/ 7
m Friday night arrival,...
So, I helped her get ready, pullin' out chairs, 'n gettin' the deck habitable, 'n festive,....
A few folks showed up, then it rained,.... 'n
Poured,.....
It ended up a Great night with great friends chattin', Waayyy past my bedtime,....
Sat, 'n talked to an ole Bud from the last 40 years til midnight,...
Next morin, 'bout 1/2 past 7, Deb gets a call, gets up, 'n makes coffee,....
only a couple hours later than normal,.....
things still made sense,...
'bout 8 o'clock, there's a knock at the door,.... I go answer it,....
Ayuh,.... You guessed it,........"No $8!t, what the 'ell you 2 doin' here",..?? :faint2:
My Sisters, drove over(600 miles, 10hours) 'n spent the day,...... had to back to teachin' school Monday am,.....
We all spent the mornin' talkin' 'n drinkin' coffee,...

m Deb had a grandson's 4th birthday party, 'n I hada go to a memorial service,....
Got back 'bout 3, 'n Diane(middle sis), 'n Chris(little sis), 'n I went for a boat ride 'round northeast Chaumont Bay,....
After a nice 3 hour cruise, We returned to a nice dinner on the dock with some more friends,...
By the time the friends packed it up the hill, the girls decided to get a jump on the return trip, 'n be rested for Monday mornin',....
Ayuh,..... All in all, I gotta say, I had one 'ell of a Great 31st anniversary, of my 29th birthday,..... :joyous:
