Sorry to ask but you find some kind of book service from engines serial number or the "history" you say is the posts I made concerning axius issues...I am little confused as my English are not so good....My mechanic knows all I know as well...nothing more.....

This information comes from a dealer tech website. I only know how it works in the U.S. but I thought any tech registered with Mercury Marine can access it. They call it "MercNET"

You mean that you have access to a kind of previous service of the boat???? No, my mechanic despite he is mercruiser certified mechanic, did not has this access or he does not even imagine that he might has access to the history of the boat.
As I bought the boat from the second owner ( I am the third) , could you please give me any information??? .... especially every detail concerning Axius system of this boat.
As I describe at the start of this thread, I bought this boat with axius hardware Uninstaller to starboard engine, and with steering cable and tie bar between he drives. All I can make concerning "axius history" are just thoughts....

I believe my mechanic has access to service manuals.....#33 and #53 are what I need....
Muc is there anything you can send me from MercNet concerning the history of the boat??? Is it possible??

My mechanic just told me that has access to all service manual, so this seems to be solved.
My last attempt is to check if the 5V sender power or ground is interrupted somewhere and fix it. I will keep you informed how is going.
You help me very much and thank you all !!!!

I’m not sure how Crowley Marine is able to share this information online. But I will warn people that sometimes this public information is outdated. Take for instance the White Glove service bulletin @Fun Times posted a link to. This is a copy of revision 2 thats 4 pages long. The most recent version is revision 3 and it’s 7 pages. This is why most techs don’t use paper manuals anymore. The first version of any service manual is written before the product is sold. So once the product is out in the field, mistakes and omissions will be found. The manual is then corrected and published electronically. A while later, once the manufacturer feels most of the content is correct they will print new manuals and send them to dealers. Years ago we used to throw the outdated manuals in the trash, but now with places like eBay and Marketplace they get sold to unsuspecting buyers.
Outdated Information can be bad information.

Have your mechanic get on MercNET and they can look at:
Product History—- this is where all warranty and recall repairs are listed.
Service History—- this is where dealers can document customer pay repairs and maintenance. Some dealers use this, most don’t.
Literature —— this section has links to the most updated information.

I am not very knowledgeable about Axius so I’m not sure but I don’t think swapping steering cylinders from side to without reflashing the TVM or resetting the city I.d. might not give valid results.

Today i checked the harness and pin continuity. I unplugged the three connectors of the PCM555 and the 14pin harness going to tvm actuator. I wrote down the continuity of every pin from TVM going to PCM from starboard engine which's the actuator is functional and i made the same to the port engine's harness which has the problem.
The result is that at the port there is no continuity in four combinations that there is continuity at the starboard engine.
So, i must fix this continuity to be the same as starboard engine. I will try with external cables connecting the pin that should be connected.
I do not know if this is the problem and the port TVM does not work, but in any case i must repair that......
I wait my mechanic to give me the service manuals with the wiring diagrams and procceed with the repair....

Yes. There is no connection between B and D pin of TVM 14pin connector and there is no connection between B pin (TVM connector) and A26pin and B23pin from PCM connectors. There is also no co nection between D pin(TVM connector) with A1 pin.
At starboard engine these pins are connected. In addition, there is connection between B pin (TVM connector) and B16pin . This connection does not exist at starboard engine.......

I want to ask something else.
Last year the engines worked in guardian mode 50% with no active fault when scanning with diacom. My mechanic told that this happened because axius tvm was not connected. In case that the problem with axius will not be solved (back to steering cable as last year) and change the smart junction box with 2 junction boxes, one for each engine, will the 50% guardian mode go away and have 100% available power, or because the PCM555 is for axius, it will reduce the available power again to 50%?
