I think I screwed up!
I decided to put Redline Fuel System cleaner
in my boat.
Now the boat runs rough and smokes. It seems to be using more oil. Somebody told me it could have damaged the VRO Pump Seals.
I thought about trying to pump the gas out and put fresh gas in. Should I run it or get in the shop ASAP?

Howdy, NLP. Get a spare tank full of normal fuel (87 octane unleaded, alcohol free) hook it up and run what is in the carbs and fuel pump out. Then see if it still objects and smokes. If it does, rebuild your fuel and oil pump(s).

Clean and purge your tank with the bad stuff in it.

Never do that again!

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

And that somebody was correct. That stuff eats rubber seals. So does alchohol-"enhanced" fuels. (Just for future reference).
I hope your engine survived intact.

Don't forget the rubber parts in your fuel delivery system start at the tank -- at the fill cap on a built in tank. And they go past the carbs (recirc and pulse hoses).

Good luck!
