I just replied to a post and my reply had a link ("fuel tank") that I did NOT insert. I have been noticing this in others' replies but just figured they did it deliberately. I have no problem linking to iboats sales area (I do it myself whenever I am suggesting a purchase), but I'm curious about this. Here's the reply I'm talking about: http://forums.iboats.com/electrical...-gauge-where-start-looking-repair-483016.html

So what's the story??

EDIT: I see it happened in this post too.

Re: Automatic links?

It has been doing that for a while, NYBo. If you mention a product that is in the iboats catalog it becomes a link to that product. It helps people find stuff most of the time. The rest of the time I don't think it is a problem. Sure beats pop-ups for promoting business. :)

Re: Automatic links?

I guess I hadn't been using any of the proper trigger words until now. Let me try a little test to see if these turns into links:

motor deflopperizer

reevits

:p
