Instead of a butterfly choke shutting down the air available there by drawing more fuel up the main jet the enrichener opens up a port to add fuel to the mix, there by enrichening it.
Thanks for the info - just finished testing it and looks like that may be the problem with flooding. the needle is fully open when hooked to a 12v source thereby pushing the float needle open dumping fuel into the cylinders.
