I agree too. Another trick to determine what speaker is connected to the pair of wires you are looking at is to use a 9V battery. By intermittently hooking the speaker to the battery will cause it to make a click sound. This will help you to see if the speaker wires are shorted inside the tube as you won't hear the click even though it may ohm out ok.
