I am in need of a armature plate bushing for a 1975 25hp does anyone have an idea where i can locate one

Armeture Plate Bushing? Are you talking about the brass ring that attaches to the bottom of the armeture plate?

IF the armature plate is very loose on the motor, there are repair kits that fix that problem. See a knowledgeable dealer as they listed were in a service bulletin somewhere back in the late '80s or early 90's.
