Are there any Rods or reels made in usa ????

Hi guys and gals , I was looking and I dont even think pen reels are made in the usa any more ?? does any one know if any are made here or in canada ?? thanks John

I think that Redwing tackle is a Canadian company.

To name a few. St Croix makes rods in America, with the exception of the Triumph line. G. Loomis also makes rod in America. I believe Kistler Makes em here too.

Ardent reels are supposedly made in Missouri.

Come to think of it,some Penn rods and reels are still made in Philadelphia.

Thanks rolmops thats what i was thinking also , a guy at woek didnt think so !!! I did just wasnt sure !!! thanks I will feel better when I buys my next rod and reel !! John

I agree with shindig888. Islander makes high quality single action reels. If thats the type of reel you are looking for.
