I had a chartplotter/fishfinder installed and tried to start my engine yesterday and nothing... No crank, no clicking, no dimming lights nothing. I have a repair manual for the engine but I am not very mechanically inclined when it comes to electrical (starter/solonoid/distributor etc.) issues. Can anyone explain what my best course of action might be to trouble shoot the problem? I have pretty much ruled out the neutral switch. (seems to shift well and didn't crank when I jiggle it with the ignition in start position. Batteries are fully charged and all electrical works well. I have a fuse bank under the cockpit but all fuses are in tact and not sure if this would apply. I read about jumping to test the starter but not sure which connections to jump without frying something. Any advice would be appreciated. I can post pictures if needed just let me know what to shoot.
Thanks,
