Oops your right don, sorry, I was gonna post it but i got to writing it down in my Boat Notebook...
Along with The head Gasket set... the set i ordered came with some parts extra and some missing, so i am trying to figure out which gaskets go where.. so my brain was a little screwed at the moment and my a.d.d doesnt help :)

So i went ahead and pulled out the old tube... it took a lot of pursuation... but i got it out... i really chewed it up... :( but the tube was also clogged.. which would probably have contributed to overheating or something.. here are pictures of the old tube from the old head.

Re: AQ130D Tube on Cylinder Head

I think i can say with certainty my problem is solved.
I called a place that sells used parts for marine engines, they guy went back to his pile of cylinderheads and pulled one of these tubes and is mailing it to me. should get it in a couple days will update with pictures when i get it...

Just a reminder for you folks out there.... for stuff like this that doesnt necesarily need to be brand new... please utilize small business... there is a likely chance a small marina shop has what you are looking for!! thanks for your help. updates coming soon

Re: AQ130D Tube on Cylinder Head

Gentlemen. So i have figured out what happened to my Oring Flange.... Appearently the Little Flange that sits on this tube to hold the Oring up is actually a different material than the copper or brass. and when the head was hot tanked.. it in turn took away that flange.. leaving me a naked tube...
So i just received my New tube (slightly Used from a Local Marina shop in tacoma, wa ) and here are the pics!! i love it... it looks so nice i cant wait to stick it in its proper place... no need to jimmy rig it now.
