I was out in my 72 Carlson and after about 15-20 minutes around 4500 RPM; and all of a sudden it just quit like it ran out of gas.
There was a spot on top of each air cleaner that looked like condensation or fog right in the middle of them. It was cold. Motor kind of hot to the touch, even on the valve cover.
I would assume I have a fuel problem but I was curious about the cold wet spots in the center of the air cleaner covers. Or is normal?
I let it cool down and it acted like it wanted to pop once or twice but I ended up towing it in.
