Anyone use a Tillerpillar?

It's expensive $165.oo. It's available in different lengths to fit your own application. I think I spelled it correctly, it's made of carbon fiber. It looks nice.

Thoughts?? Pics of your own "home" version that doesn't look toooo trailer park.

tried one once, you have to exagerate your movements to steer the boat. took it off within 5 minutes of trying it.

Yep, I understand the extra movement. Just curious to those that are happy with one, which one they like most.

What don't like about them is that they tend to flex a bit at the union of the top tiller with extension, specially if you have an engine set to hard steering by menas of the steering nut adjustment. Are ideal for cruises at slow sppeds in which constant steering is not an issue of for small/medium outboards placed on sailboats. Better move forward to bow and extend you arm the most if using a sib or rib :D
