Years ago my FIL passed down his 1978 Charger 170V to me. It was in terrible but working condition and we took it fishing every year up and down the river and lakes in NE Oklahoma. Back in 2020 I gave it a face lift and new wiring, including a dash I made from Seaboard and a windshield I crafted by heating and bending Lexan (from Lowes). Sadly, on her annual maiden voyage, this year, she nearly sank as I hauled tail back to the ramp when I noticed a profound leak in the transom. Now I am going to once again try and keep her alive longer by rebuilding the transom for the first time. Wish me luck!
