Anyone make Coast Guard Capacity plates replacements?

I have a 14' Sears Gamefisher and came across this picture of one, I need to have one made. Any ideas on how or who maight do this?

If you can get a better picture you can have one made out of vinyl just like vinyl lettering. These are not issued by the Coast Guard, they're put on the boats by the manufacturer. FYI, if you're thinking of changing it so you can run a bigger motor don't bother. If there's a question, the Coast Guard won't go by the tag, they'll measure the boat.

yep a sign shop could do it.... heck it could probably even be hand painted as long as it was VERY legible and had all the correct info

Check with your state. PA has a form to fill out and they'll make you one.

Doug Smith (D.H. Smith Company) in Missouri will make you one. We used to use him when I was at Proline to get temporary plates before we could get them from NMMA. (417) 869-8827.
