Anyone know of a good scotchgard treatment for new boat carpet??

I have just installed new tan carpet in my 1966 CHRYSLER POLARA 254---iS THERE A GOOD EXTERIOR STAIN TREATMENT ANYONE CAN RECOMMEND LIKE SCOTCHGARD???--Thank You---rirory

Why not call a local carpet place and ask??? I have never heard of using scotchguard on a boat carpet.
