Hey Garageguy, How did you come up with the KKK thing? That's kind of insulting don't you think?<br /><br />Oh I get it... I'm from Tennesse and own guns. That would make me a racist by anyone standards.<br />I'm not.<br /><br />You kind of missed the point of the humor in these posts.

I'm from Ks. and own guns. <br />I can understand your irritation with PWCs. I really can. I've been on mine and have tried to be run down for no apparent reason then just being in the water with a small child onboard(12yrs old). I've almost been run down pulling a tube with kids in a straight line with my red flag flying. Some of the stuff some of you guys say about PWC's is funny and have added a few comments (not sarcasm) myself.<br />The comments you were could be taken alot of different ways and this just so happens to be the way I took it. Sorry about the KKK thing.<br />It was the mindset I related it to.

I have had unbeleavable things done to me by people on wave runners and jet skis. As you can see from the other posts I am not alone.<br /><br />The humor is we aren't REALlY going to shoot them all or hook one....never mind I can't explain humor. You either get the joke or not.<br /><br />Thanks for the retraction. I didn't think the KKK thing was funny at all.

Yea,www.getalife.com,and you can also go to lake Michigan and get lost about 10 miles out and see if any one cares that your on a jetski,cause nobody cares that your out there,doing 90 mph! :eek: ad: <br /><br />mth-54 Pink at night sailors delight, Pink in the morning sailors take warning! ;)

Well I am a boater (BlueWater Mirage Bow Rider) who also owns Sit down Jet ski's. And I will tell you from experience I have seen as many arsehole Boat drivers as I have Arsehole PWC drivers. Don't believe me rent a PWC for a day at you favorite water hole and obey the rules and watch the Arsehole boaters and the arsehole PWCers you see, but be real mindful while riding that pwc that some arsehole in his mega powered Ranger-Skeeter- or what evermaking 90 to the next spot to drop his hook doesn't run you over.<br />Rick

I'm fortunate to own a boat and ski as well but the ski is always getting me into trouble with other boaters/fisherman. There seems to be a bullseye on my back every time i come within casting distance of their lines(not that i ride too close on purpose!). Anyway, it's very hard to draw lines in the lake(or sea) so we all know which bit belongs to who. I think a little respect is needed from both sides, but on both sides you're always going to get a*seholes so neither party can win!! <br /><br />Just have fun!!

I also am fortunate enough to have both baots and jerkskiis. I prefer boats but like to work on jetskis. Check out jetski.com or jetracer.com

Well hi to all the morons on the water. As a boat,& pwc owner, as well as a lakefront property owner and an active member of our beloved coast guard, I must say I am truly disgusted with completely moronic attitude Ive seen on this board. Living on one of the great lakes and being in the CG I see just as many or more jacka$$ boaters seems most people dont seem to realize that they are responsible for the accidents their wake causes and figure hey Im not in a no wake zone I can go as fast as I want. So until your all perfect grow up. By the way Mr. paintermn with your M16 on board since that is a weapon that has full automatic capabilities I will be keeping a very watchful eye out for you as will every coastie I know in Tennessee. You think youve had boarding problems in the past just wait. I know its just a joke, well some lines just shouldnt be crossed......

Well this all went south in a hurry. Mabe I should have said hand grenade or nuke insead of M-16.<br /><br /> I am starting to think that I am the ONLY one who has had his lines run over by a pwc (Never had a boater do that)<br /><br />Never had a boater jumping my wake while I towed my small kids on a tube.<br /><br />Or while I'm at it...had two idiot kids on pwc circle me at high speed to prevent my being able to get my sail up on my windsurfer!<br /><br />There is a problem people. And yes I know that boaters are idiots too who don't know the rules of the road, and are a**holes too. But by far I have had more problems with the pwc owner/idiot.<br /><br />Get a life folks (or I'll shoot you with a sling-shot).<br /><br />PS You can legaly own a fully auto M-16 in the USA with a Class III license. and No I don't have one on the boat. That was the joke part.

Painterman,<br /> If I ever see you I am going to throw a rock (whoops.... I mean a beer I mean coke can) at you (hahaha). Anyone who rides too close to you (especially when you are towing a kid) should be hurt, whatever they are riding, just as the person in a boat that tried to run me over when I was on a jet ski (for NO cause) should be too.<br /><br /> Not trying to add fire to this subject but anyone who hasn't, go rent a ski and ride it for 1 day. You will be AMAZED at how RUDE (us) boaters can be (because of this type attitude). <br /><br /> There is a problem... The problem is that boaters that have had some bad experances are ruder and more agresive toward jet skiers and vice-a-versa. <br /><br /> To quote (someone I do not like) "Why can't we all just get along"?<br /><br /> Belive it or not people.... I have seen a boater and a jet skier actually haveing a bear and talking together. The water is big enough for us all.

I too am from Tennessee, and I too own boats and jet skis. I did lighten up and see the humor here but feel it may have gone a little far. I try to respect others no matter which watercraft I am piloting. I think that is the real issue. I would love to see testing and licensing required prior to any water craft operator taking to the water but that is just my opinion. The real issue is responsibility, safety, and consideration of others. I see many failures in every type of water craft, and with the vehicles getting them there for that matter. Just because I am on a jet ski does not make be bad, nor does being in one of my boats make me good. A little of respect goes a long way but I am old school...
