Anyone have an idea of what model this might be?

On my daily cruise through Craigslist I came upon this ad, it says it is a Starcraft, but looking at it, I don't recognize what it might be?

Starcraft 14ft closed bow with 40HP evinrude runs great!!

No idea, but I have to say I find it hard to believe "the outboard motor is easily worth more than what i am asking for the whole setup! ($1500)".:facepalm:

Ya, I agree, I was not looking at the motor, I have three 40 bigtwins sitting on stand right now. This one is quite a bit older than the ones I own.

I've seen a Starcraft here in the forums with the grooved bow cap like that one. It sure wasn't on a '65 Starcraft. The rest of her is Starcrafty.

Give the guy a call and ask him what his title says.

Just a heads up - watch out for that transom - I wasn't sure looking at the photos, but that looks like rot or a crack to the left of the motor in the photograph showing the transom.

Looks very similar to the 1960 starcraft viscount I had a few years back. Nice little boat but his price appears to be quite high, in my area about half what he is asking is all it would go for if in very good condition.
