I’m just curious if you’ve had any issues with it. I bought a 2021 phantom 18 x2 about 5 weeks ago, I like the style aned the layout of the boat but I’ve had a few issues with it and the overall quality of the build is poor.
-the day I bought it I noticed the tube the plug goes in was never completely installed and had about in inch of play,
-then the first time I loaded it back on the trailer I noticed the bow eye was bent/ twisted.
-then wash down pump connections leaked.
- with the cover on water leaked into the bilge, the reason is the channel above the rub rail isn’t sealed. The dealer gave me a bs excuse and didn’t fix this.
-last week when I pulled it out of the water the bilge pumps pumped out at least 2 gallons of water on the ramp.
-there is a weld on the keel where the paint is flaking off.
this thing always has water in the bilge. I can tilt the boat at home and dry the area but as soon as I pull away from the docks water appears. The most frustrating part is Smoker Craft refuses to talk to me and the dealer doesn’t seem interested in resolving these issue and tries to make excuses and Talks to me like I’m an idiot. The only way this thing should have water in the bilge is if I take a wave over the gunnels, it rains, or I hose down the deck.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had these issues or issue at all with Smoker Craft?
