I'm looking at getting a Motor Guide 48 lb thrust but I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with that particular motor or Motor Guide in general. I have read some reviews and they aren't rated nearly as high as Minn Kota, but Minn Kota's are harder to come by used unless you want to drop 400+, and being a college student I'm on a budget as always. So basically I would just like some insight/testimonial from anyone who has used these motors, and if you happened to have a foot controlled 48lb thrust, even better. Thanks.
