Anyone from or close to Okonomowoc WI

There is a bloke in this town who has been a great help to me getting my boat over here.
He is a dealer. I wasted a lot of his time over a long period and would like to get him a small gift of appreciation.
I had in mind a voucher of some kind.
He is about 60 (I think).
For US$50 (that should get him a tool or bottle of whishey or something)
I need to be able to ring either a hardware superstore, or liquor outlet, or whatever, and ask them to make out a voucher, then accept payment for it from my credit card, then post it to this bloke.
So is there anyone here with a suggestion as to
1. what a boat dealer in Okonomowoc would like a voucher for
2. a business in this town who would action a voucher for me.
To anyone that lives in this town and has worked out who he is....please don't go round and tell him.d

I am about an hour and a half away. Pony I think is just a little ways away.

I believe you are looking for Occonomowoc. Wisconsin is a big brandy state, if you are looking for a bottled gift. I am sure a gift card to one of the local restaurants would be a nice gift. Try Private Messaging or giving a shout out for him. Having worked in the marine industry years ago, boat related stuff would be something he has access to everyday, at a discount.

Oconomowoc, probably 45 min from here. I'd be glad to help til I'm called back to work (about the same distance in exactly the opposite direction). But I like Pointer's idea. Send him something unique from there for his office. Not a whole lot of dealer choices in Oconomowoc. Only two that come to mind (been to both) plus an independent. I'm betting on the one starting with D which is one of a chain. I'm betting the boat came from another of the chain. That would be a lot of boat for Oconomowoc, but people there have lots of money. There aren't a ton of businesses right in Oconomowoc persay, its a pretty small quiet place. I agree that something unique would be nice....

I live probably 25-30 minutes from there, but go there quite a bit during the summer to visit family. I got in big trouble when i was 4 because I walked a few blocks to the local park on Lac La Belle and no one knew where I was. Great little town to go fishin, lots of old architecture.....

If you go the restaurante route, there arent many in the city itself. Would have to expand to neighboring cities. Pepino's Pizza is probably the biggest restaurant in Oconomowoc, but there are some nice places near there. Golden Anchor (never been there but have heard good things), Delafield Brewhaus (Nice selection of micrbrews and great food) Pistol Petes (Great Pizza) Weissgerbers Seven Seas (This one has good food and is right on Lake Nagawicka).

Hard to tell what he might like.
Almost any type of store can be found within 40 miles of Oconomowoc, as it is located between Milwaukee and Madison.

Vouchers, or gift cards as they are usually called here, can be had almost anywhere.
Hunting, outdoors gear, or fishing gear? - Cabela's or Gander Mtn.
Gasoline - BP - Mobil -
Groceries or Liquor - Pick 'n Save

Let us know what you would like to get him, and one of us will be able to supply the contact information.

Well I did it.

I read thru all the comments and suggestions, tossed everything over in my mind, and decided that Pointers suggestion of something from here was pretty appropriate.
(spent hours checking everything out actually)
So on I monday I mailed it to him.
I would like to tell you what it was and why I picked it, but this chap may be a silent listener on this channel, so if you don't object, I will leave it for a couple of weeks.
Nothing really big or exciting or anything.
Anyway, thank you all for your imput....once again it was invaluable....and very much appreciated.
Will keep you posted.
