My dad had bad circulation along with leg pain.........

Mine to, but his was diabetes related, he should have listened to the people around him and not been so stubborn.

I ski 5 days a week....even when it is 30 below.
You should check out heated insoles. Heating element integral to the insole....rechargeable battery packs....last 2-4 hours depending on the heat setting you use....lo-med-hi.

Try googling "Thermic" brand and see where they are available....and that should also get you a couple of other brands as well for comparison.
You can adjust sock weight to suit the heat rate.
