One small pile of snow hiding in the shadow of the shed, grass is growing.
But the difference from where we live to where the wife works was it was 15c degrees at 0700 and 6c here.

General temps are to rise into the mid/high 20c, springs here.

I was out and about today. It's like blizzard conditions, white out and the snow is starting to accumulate. Looks like the county plows will be out eventually. Roads are getting bad. Lost power for 3hrs. Only 2 days until May.

All after school activities have been cancelled. Still coming down hard. Yesterday it rained all day and no snow.

Again, this is just a nuisance compared to down south......

That looks pretty.

We had a EF 2 twister about 40 miles away last night. Fortunately no deaths/injuries, a few houses damaged and a mess of trees knocked over. Nothing like the poor souls in states to the west.

And it looks like this isn't over for most of the East coast and to the West.

Bummer.....We're raining. We had a few flakes this morning but nothing is sticking. Another chance tomorrow..........stinks.

Low 90`s here today and again tomorrow followed by 89 for the next two days...send some of that cooler weather down south here

Round two tonight in my area, though it's toned WAAAAY down from last night. Wasn't bad here in Middle TN, most of the big stuff happened to the South of my area. Tragic loss of life, and certainly loss of property. Most of the interviews that I've heard though people were handling it well (as can be expected).

Tornadoes scare me...I have been close to many and in a few. They pop up at a moments notice and can make a half mile wide path of total destruction. Stay Safe Folks

Wow, looks ugly Wim. I hope all this clears by August when my friends and I head up to Mercer for our fishing trip. Usually things have been relatively warm for a month or two by then.

The snow is mostly gone. But at barely above freezing the ice is still solid. I can't see being in the water before mid june.

Ouch! That's nasty. Hang in there! Spring is coming. It finally found us even tho the lakes were froze for last weekends opener. They should go out this week. Talking a lot of rain.....

ya... the snow has finally gone here, mostly... the ice in the bays JUST broke up and buggered off about 3 days ago... I haven't seen better than 8C yet this spring.. and this time last year, and years before, I was on a WAITING LIST to get my boat hauled to the marina and dropped in!

Fishing season opened for us yesterday Ricohman, we have soft water down here in the SW, and the pike were on the bite yesterday. But it is cold and misreble.
