Anyone boat on senachwine lake?

Anyone boat on senachwine lake in Illinois? It is just north of Henry on the Illinois river. Wondering how it is for tubing/water skiing? It is hour and a half from us and want to know if is worth the trip.

I never tried to get to it, but here's the wikipedia article on it:

I thought it was still pretty shallow, though. I may be wrong, though. Somewhere up there, they have boat races or something, it might be there.
