Yup, use it every day..it's a good browser. Try their Thunderbird (email client), it works well too!

Mozilla, Firefox, and Thunderbird are all open-source programmes. They contain no spyware or noone would work on them.<br /><br />Development of the "Mozilla" browser suite has pretty well been terminated in favor of Mozilla Firefox. This is the one you want. <br /><br />I expect you'll find a lot of people here use it over Internet Explorer. It's far less buggy and doesn't have the security problems IE has had historically. When bugs are found, solutions are quickly developed and distributed automatically if they're sever.<br /><br />I run it as a rule. Once every couple months I run a spyware checker. It's found one item in the last year: an Internet Explorer hijack. Try it out, you'll like it.

I have it on all my computers, and no problems with it, further since I have started using it I have had far less problems with spyware/adware. I also use thunderbird.

Re: Anybody using Mozilla Firefox browser?

I've been using Firefox at home for about a year. No complaints, in fact, I much prefer it over IE.<br /><br />As NoelMG said, some sites won't load correctly or at all, but most do.

I have used Firefox and Thunerbird over a year. No complaints. I still need IE for some web based programs at work as these programs only work with IE

Use Firefox exclusively. LOVE tabbed browsing. Went back to Outlook from T-Bird, just didn't have the features I need. They still need to work on it.

Re: Anybody using Mozilla Firefox browser?

I use both. I develop websites for a living and have to be aware of how my code renders in both browsers.<br /><br />There are some bang-up extensions that you can use in Firefox. I use the Developer Toolbar which can easily resize your browser window to various common screen resolutions, it will validate your HTML, CSS, 508, and much more. There is also an extension called ScreenGrab that will do a screen "print" and automatically create a PNG file (picture format). IE also has the Developer Toolbar; however, I can't find anything like ScreenGrab for IE.

Re: Anybody using Mozilla Firefox browser?

Last year I read something about Firefox being one of the few pieces of software that actually presented a ‘hit’ to MS’s IE domain as king of web browsers. People buying new computers were going to Firefox at something like 2 to 1 over IE. I have a friend that does big-time corp websites (Citibank, De Beers, Fruit of the Loom…hey, someone has to do it.  ). For the last two or three years corps have been requiring web page testing included functionality on Firefox as well as IE and Netscape. Some do, some don’t specify functionality on Opera.

Been using it for about 6 months. I work on a Mac, so I really don't notice any issues with spyware or viruses, but my wife has a PC. I switched her to Firefox and there was a noticeable difference. Thumbs up!

Re: Anybody using Mozilla Firefox browser?

I've used it for over a year and love it. If I use Internet Explorer and just do a couple of Google searches I get spyware, with Firefox I'm all clear. you can't beat that.
