Anybody hear of an Excel 175 speed boat

I found this article on testing the 70/75 on a CVX, I'm pleased to hear that the performance is quite good on all areas.
Would be the smallest engine by a long long way...I’ve ever known on one.

Outside of this article, I've only seen one case where someone had 70 on one of these. I can see the point the article is making, 4gph at cruise, 41mph top speed, pulls skier effortlessly, it would be good enough for some.

Was a 115 v4 on mine originally in 84’. That was the smallest engine fitted to my Roger Clark cvx16. She now has a mighty 150 V6 on her.
