Antenna Connection Question

Hello all. I just bought a used VFH radio with a 8ft. Shakespeare Antenna. The problem is the connector fell off. Is this soldered or crimped? It's RG59U cable running through. Is this a shielded connection? I have provided a picture. Thanks for the input.

If it "Fell Off" it was never actually installed.

Yeah it was never installed now that I see it's soldered. The end was just stuffed in and held on with tape. Thanks for the video UncleWillie!

Forget the soldering stuff, especially if used in saltwater. Buy and install a Shakespeare PL259-CP-G Centerpin Connector. Problem solved
