Ok so here's what i have going on. Power to both relays. But both green and blue wires have no power coming out

This is great troubleshooting symptom. Now before you go and jump to conclusion, is there power coming in from the red wires on both relays? You do not need to energize the relay to do a test on this. Just place your voltage tester across the red and black wire (any of the black wires) on the relay and you should have 12VDC.

If yes, then relay is bad. If no, then the problem is somewhere else. Here's a diagram clearly showing the red and black wires.

Today i put the second set of new relays in no change. I had no power coming out of the blue and green wires from the relays

Make sure the +12 volts is getting to the relay(s) because the trim motor circuit breaker might be bad or open.
Then.
You can use a straight pin to puncture the insulation if there is no other way to check.
After that check that the voltage is really not coming out of the relay (after verifying that the +12 is going into it.
If you have a problem with the motor not running check at the motor and at the other relay which makes the ground return for the motor.

Do you have power at the blue/white or green/white wire when the trim switch is active? If not, trim switch or that trim switch connector is suspect.

You sure the motors good?
Even new they can be bad.
You try putting power to the G@B
Unhook from the relays and touch them on the posts of the battery.
One to hot the other to ground, then switch.
That should make the motor operate.

Trim motor works. I did the battery to the blue and green wires. Trim motor works.

You test the leads from the switch?
The contacts might be bent and not making contact.

Did the relays "click"?
Careful measurements eliminate lots of guessing and trial by error.
Measure the voltage going in measure the output.
Sometimes if the contacts (anywhere) are bad there will be voltage with no load and none under load.
That bad contact could be anywhere in the circuit.
That anywhere if you are expecting a motor to run could just as easily be in the ground return path as the +12 volt.
Measurements, measurements, measurements.

Went to work on it today and the battery was dead. But from the past few weeks the relays clicked. I,m on the second set of relays. The tt motor worked with the battery test. I did clean the leads. I'll be there tomorrow if it don't rain. And I'll have a charged battery. I tested the TT when the battery was fresh, and it worked manually. The battery was only at 11.5, so i'm kinda shocked how it got low.

I got the battery back in, still don't start. Radio hasn't been on in a while. Also retested the trim motor jumped to the battery, works fine. I think my brain is fried from all the hours i'm working and this boat. Ugh!! This weekend I hopefully buy a pontoon trailer. Found one for a thousand. Hopefully it's not a POS. Otherwise I'll be buying new. I'm going to test the solenoid tomorrow. It's in the water now. Sucks working on the damn thing. I bought a place on fox lake and it came with it. Know I know why they left it behind. lol good night

Don't be discouraged!!
There's nothing that can't be fixed.

No start? Check comp and spark and timing.

Power at red wire (input from battery) at both relays but no power at green and blue (output from relay contact).
New relays but still no power at green and blue and the relays i "clicking".

It sounds you have bad/burned terminals in the relay sockets.
Check the terminals in the sockets.
When activating the relays you got a high current peek that may create an arc at the relay Contact.
Heat will occur and this will make the sockets to heat up and even melt.

Hi all,Since the motor wont start and its getting late in the season. I've decided first priority is to get the boat off the lake. The trolling motor should be ok with that, the launch is about a block away. I checked the solenoid, it works. I'm thinking possibly ignition switch. it turns but i cant get the key out. I'll get a new one before i pull the boat out. Plus i'll have better access to everything. I'm going to check out a used trailer this weekend.

Bought a new trailer today $ 1750 . 18 foot tandem axle. Pick it up next week sometime. At least something is going right. So does a pontoon trailer have to be licensed ?

Most likely you need a tag and license and pay the tax, but different states have different laws.
Florida you have to have it licensed.

So You are near Horizon, so I'm assuming its Fox Lake WI.
(not fox lake Illinois, Every trailer in IL needs plates.)

In Wisconsin, the trailer will need plates if the gross weight rating is 3000# or higher.
Every tandem axle trailer I've seen since 1980 will be above that.
The trailer dealer should have the paperwork.
Registration is about $38, plus plate fee and title.

Yep fox lake WI. Just wondering if a 20 foot trailer would work for a 18 foot pontoon? The new one won't be available till sometime this week. Found a used 20 foot for a 1000.
