another powerhead swap question

is it possible to swap a 87 1.6l seadrive powerhead with a 93 johnson 150 vpro i think it is, or do i have to stick with a v4 to put on mid and lower unit?

The mid is the same. The adapters drive shaft, shift shaft and the tiller arm are different.

If you have enough parts and enough snap you can do anything.

i have the whole 150 but its a 25 inch and the 1.6 is a 20 inch mid section

i got that backwards the 150 is a 20 inch and 1.6 is 25 inches

You need the correct upper drive shaft, shift shaft and tiller arm.
