I appologize if I'm missing the answer from previous posts.

Have a '77 Sea Ray 197 bow rider in good general shape.
In the process of wrapping up an engine/exhaust replacement.

The floor is generally in good shape, appears solid all the way around.
Plan on replacing the carpet and have noticed that the plywood floor appears to be very dry.
Would it be recommended to seal the floor prior to adhereing the carpet in order to preserve the integrity?
If so, what is the best type of sealer to use?

Take Care,
Steve
