On my boat there is a 1 inch hole that is perpendicular to the drain plug in the back and when I prop the boat up to drain it there are pieces of rotten wood chips that come out with the water. This boat is fiberglass but it seems to have a wooden frame between the floor and hull. Should I be concerned or is this normal for an older boat?

I'd be concerned about the stringers being rotten, and the hull folding in half under stress someday.

The good news is that your aluminum AeroCraft won't have the same issues:)

True, true. I love my Angler tho.... it's alot stabler than the aluminum jon. Hopefully I won't stress this boat out much as I like to fish calm waters.

Reckon I could fill the void with "Great Stuff" expanding foam to solidify the floor/hull? I won't if someone has tried and failed in this attempt.
