Dang Kagee, I was born in Toledo so i know where you are coming from.
I moved to the Carolinas as soon as i turned 18.(25 years ago) never looked back. All of my family moved here over the years,would never want to live anywhere else..

Wifes aunt lives over off the Currytuck (sp?) Sound.
I could move down there in a minute but it's too dang expensive. We got grandkids now so it would be tough to leave them behind.

We are. Luckily, the garden wasn't finished because of the dad blummed vines, so we kick started our maters in pots on the back porch to transplant when the garden is finished. When it got cold, we were able to bring them in. Now our living room is full of pots of veggies on top of little squares of cardboard. How often is it that maters get to sit by the firelight?d
