never ever has another actor brought a charactor to life as KNOTTS & fife.. hope he's at the big 'check-point-chickie' in the sky.. over & out deputy....
He was an amazing character on and off the screen.<br /><br />He will be missed, but I'm sure all the re-runs will keep him with us for a long time. They say most people can be replaced, I don't think so for Don.
