Aluminum frame top for Sea Ox

Hi,
Currently working on a 1989 20' Sea Ox, walkaround version, http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/gNx5ElcZ2fabn44TLEP16TPMFGspHqGFO_myBYDLSys?feat=directlink, that I would like to get an idea of cost for an aluminum frame for a top, or any other possible ways of sun cover other than bimini. We are central NC.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe a frame made of pvc and then a canvas top that would snap on. The whole thing would be very light and safer than using metal that could have a few sharp edges

Ayuh,... I built my own outa scraps found when Dumpster Divin'.....

I imagine it'll set ya back a pretty penny to have Custom built...
A bimini will be more practical....
