Just finishing up the restoration of a 60 year old tinny utility. The only thing left is to paint the inside deck (floor). It is green now, and mostly intact except for spots worn from feet.

Looking for recommendations for a brush on product. Looking for flat green, could be non-skid, but not mandatory.

Rust-Oleum Forest Green , use moeler primer, and some pumice for non-skid
I use Moeller for aluminum outboard motors. However, with the seats and everything a spray can would not be too convenient to use on a boat. I checked and I can't find where they offer a brush-on version.

Rustoleum DOES sell an aluminum primer in quarts. The TDS sounds good. I just wonder how well it works....

On the topic of this post: I forget what it was but decades ago I painted something with Aluminum Paint. The problem I had with that choice was that the pigment that was at the surface of the painted surface was not sufficiently bonded to the paint and the Aluminum rubbed off on me and my clothes.

With today's clear coat type of paint, possibly that could provide a "shell" over the pigment and hold it in place.

On antiskid surfaces on different things over the years, I'd spray rattle can paint on a surface and then dust it with play sand I bought at HD. let it dry and dust off the surplus. Worked great...one application was on the top of my boat trailer where I walked in launching my boat and didn't want to slip down.
