I have the chance to buy a fixer upper alumacraft for cheap. You will have to forgive me and help me learn the correct part terms as this will be my first boat.
By fixer upper I mean it will need new seats, panels, flooring work, whole interior basically. The hull appears intact but the top of the boat will need sanded and repainted to get rid of cracking. This doesn't scare me as im prepared to do a few years work if needed. I want it right the first time, I don't like do overs.
Im unsure of the specific year and will be getting more details. It does have a 60hp Evinrude and I will get more specifics on it as well.
what areas do I need to inspect on the hull and transom where the motor sits? the boat has set a few yrs that I know of.
