Its the hose that runs from the water pick up tube off the impeller pump. It goes up and connects to a plastic tube that runs thru the transom.

Once you remove the drive, housing, bellows . Try putting it on boiling/very hot water to soften it some.

I was wondering if it could be done without removing the drive housing and bellows?

Can I pull the bell housing and drive off as one unit or would I nned to remove the drive first?

Definitely remove the outdrive from the bell housing before removing the bell housing.

What gaskets and orings would I need? Does anyone have the part number for the hinge pin tool?

Ayuh,.... The hinge pins can be turned with a 1/2" allen key,...

The outdrive gasket set is 18-2619-1 here at iboats,...

If I were you, I'd do All the rubber parts, Now, as the rest are also 'bout done,...
Doin' a new lower shift cable at the same time is another Good idea,...

You'll need the drive bellows, the exhaust bellows, the shift cable and it's bellows, the drive gasket kit, and the hose from the bell housing to the transom. You should also get an alignment bar to check/set the engine position. Try to get a kit with the whole shebang. Could save you a couple of real dollars.
BTW I always suggest a 1/4" flex (springy) extension as an essential tool to snug up the bellows clamps.
