Alpha one gen 2

I have a 2006 Larson senza 5.0 mercruiser and the ring gear and pinion came apart and trashed my out drive, where is the best place to get a rebuilt unit and will a alpha 2 bolt up and is is stronger than what I have?

If your boat is a 2006, it should be an Alpha one gen 2. Unless someone’s done some swapping. SEI has aftermarket drives somewhat inexpensive. A brand new drive is going to be $2,500+.. your local boat mechanic may be able to rebuild a good core
