Alpha gen 2 housing to gen 1 outdrive

Hi, I have an alpha gen 1 outdrive and my boat had originally had a gen 2 outdrive on it but it was sold to me missing that... will the gen 1 I have bolt right up no issues? Pics for reference. Seems I will have to delete the oil port from the housing? Possible the plug under the shifter arm?

They are not compatible. You need another Gen 2 drive.

You can do the swap in 3 easy steps

Step 1: sell the drive you have for small pile of cash
Step 2: empty wallet onto pile to make pile bigger
Step 3: take bigger pile of cash and buy the drive you need
