Alpha 1 Upper Housing Shaft Seal Leak

I've got an Alpha 1 Gen II with an leaking upper housing shaft seal leak that I'm fairly sure I caused after a water pump change. Will changing it require a complete teardown of the upper? If so, how many (billable) hours should I expect this to take?
