Hi, I just finished up installing my bell housing yesterday and noticed today that it looks like my upper swivel pin may not have seated all the way up in my gimbal ring. I had this thing completely broken down, primed, painted and reassembled with new parts. Does this look to be a problem with any professional mechanics out there?? I tightened the swivel pin nut to where there was no play and was just able to get a small feeler gauge in the bottom swivel pin.

When a .010" feeler gauge fits snug between the lower swivel portion of the gimbal ring and gimbal housing and the u bolt is still loose at the top of the ring, turn the ring side to side and briskly strike the exposed portion of the gimbal ring downward with a deadblow hammer. This will seat the bottom of the steering shaft in the ring

You'll need to continue tightening the nut and seating the ring until you achieve the .002 - .010" spec at the lower swivel area
