I got a class action settlement check from a previous employer several years ago. Came out of nowhere and I had no idea it was coming. It was $1800! Three days later I got another for $1500 from the same suit! WoooHooo! Decked out a rifle...big time!

Way to go! Who wouldn't like to have $3300 fall out of the sky?

I've received notices about class action suits probably 8 times. I've received a grand total of $0.00 from them.

I didn't even tell my wife, I just started spendin' then told her after I put 2 grand into my rifle! Wish I had a boat then...it would've been time for a repower!

And for the record $3300 wasn't nearly what I was owed for the purposes of the settlement, just an average for my area.

Well, OK, let's live large! One-ups-man-ship, eh?!

A few years ago I joined a class action lawsuit against GM for faulty intake manifold gasket design. My award on that one was $400. I'm not complaining about it, "but" what those defective gaskets cost me was easily well over $2000!

Who's got a bigger one? Must be somebody!

I might have you beat by a little (if the payoff actually happens).

My condo association is attempting to collect on the Certanteed Shingle class action. Payoff should be around $700 per unit. Of course, the cost to re-roof will be about $3400 per unit. My roof doesn't leak yet, but just from the looks of it, I have worries about this winter.

There's one against Samsung for LCD price fixing. I'm hoping to get a few hundred fro. That but probably wont.

Got a check for $12.98 from EBAY!!!!! Hired a body guard to escort me to the bank that day.
