A "free range" plow truck is a happy plow truck

Well Mother Nature took a radical turn today. We have over 30" of snow cover and now it's raining <<<< proper spelling is ICE!!

As I mentioned yesterday morning ICE.......... well we had a major accident last night with a tour bus and a tractor trailer .....over 2 dozen to the hospital and one driver deceased. Fatal tour bus crash in West Haven - WCAX.COM Local Vermont News, Weather and Sports-

The ice glazed over everything and made it hazardous for all involved.

After the blast of snow it turned cold. -20s and single digit highs all next week. Right now I'll take it. Beats warm and snow, they seem to go hand in hand. Ya, still plowing....

Think there is maybe 50 something inches of snow on the ground here. Funny thing is as much as I want spring to come...I am skiing big sky/moonlight basin all this next week. Gonna be sick of snow very soon.

Last time I was at Big Sky, we got 2' while skiing in the day, then 2.5' more overnite. Made for some tough skiing, as it came on our last 2 days there, and we were already exhausted.

Boy since last Saturday, it has not quit snowing, I had a foot on the ground Saturday, I now have over 7 feet on the ground, it is coming down faster than I can plow it! :blue:

Boy I am sure glad the pantry and the freezers are full, cause there ain't even any deer running around!

This is getting crazy, I don't know that I have ever had this much snow on the ground since I have lived here and that is over 16 years now, man oh man, I hope I see spring on the horizon soon.

Should have hung around Vancouver. It came AND went.
