I have a 1994 albemarle 265. I'm looking to get my main panel redone or replaced. It's gotten so hard to read.

I was reading something awhile back that was a person that was redoing electrical face back to original factory condition.

that would be solicitation and that is against rules.

However the cost to pay someone to dis-assemble and unwire your dash, restore it, then re-wire and assemble the dash will be pretty expensive.

However once you pull the dash your local plastic shop or sign shop can most likely help

if I recall, the Albermarle dash is just a flat bit holding the gauges to the console. I would make a template, contact your local plastic company, have them router out acrylic, router out the lettering and back-light it.

I had a bit of carbon fiber sheet left over from a work project. did a buds dash in that, we had a sign company make decals for the text and then clear coated it with automotive clear. The dash in my rogue was laser etched when I lasered the panel from stainless

Few options come to mind...

Trophy shop - can usually do engraving for you.

Vinyl sign shop - have them print your panel on exterior graded vinyl.

Either option, you're going to have to do some leg work to determine how to pull the panel, get the replacement panel to whomever is doing the work, then reinstalling.

IF it were me, I'd take several pictures as I removed 1 gauge at a time to notate wiring connections,. I'd reconnect the wiring per dangling gauge so as to not mix things up. Go down the line. Reverse process once you have a replacement panel.

Probably one of the easier tasks in boat maintenance IF you take your time and document everything in the process.

if you want to pay someone to do the whole job from start to finish, you are looking at $150/hr shop rate and about 40 hours of work.

if you remove the panel yourself and do the R&R yourself as indicated above, that panel will only cost you about $2-500 to have someone make the panel

choice is yours.
