Does a 1985 70hp evinrude vro have alarms for over heating, or lack of oil ? should there be a beep when you turn the ignition on ? ​

There is an overheat sensor for the alarm on the cylinder head.-----Should be tested once a year.---Is there a module with wires on your VRO pump ?----The older controls did not beep when you turned the key to on.
